Four States showed door to Congress, says Badal

People of Rajasthan have laid the foundation for the installation of NDA Government in the country after a humiating defeat of Congress in the Vidhan Sabha elections, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said in Jaipur.

In an informal interaction with mediapersons, Badal pointed out that the drubbing of Congress by voters was an indication of a common man’s growing anger against its “misgovernance, unleashing of unprecedented inflation and anti-poor policies making the lives of common masses miserable leaving them in lurch for even two square meal”.

Punjab Chief Minister, along with Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal, and his daughter-in-law and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal was in Jaipur to attend the swearing-in ceremony of his Rajasthan counterpart Vasundhra Raje and congratulate her on behalf of the people of Punjab. He said that the way people of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi have shown the door to Congress, the writing on the wall after general elections was all clear.

Sukhbir said Congress should prepare itself for the worst defeat as people are itching their hands to teach a lesson to Congress-led UPA regime, which never bothered to give any respite to a common man.
