Four independent MLAs of Haryana on Tuesday met Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at his residence and discussed the farmers’ issues.

They appealed to the Chief Minister to find out an early solution to farmers’ agitation. During the meeting, Manohar Lal gave his assurances of putting their concerns before the BJP’s Central Leadership soon.

Before this meeting, the four independent legislators –MLA Nayan Pal Rawat from Prithla, MLA Sompal Sangwan from Dadri, MLA Dharampal Gonder from Nilokheri, MLA Randhir Golan from Pundri and JJP MLA Jogi Ram Sihag from Barwala met in Panchkula and discussed the issue of farmers’ agitation. They unanimously appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address farmers’ concerns over farm laws without delay.

Talking to mediapersons, MLA Randhir Golan said, “I am a farmer as well as an MLA. The Centre Government should ensure that the farmers' agitation end soon.”

He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should take a decision in the interest of farmers without delay.

The MLA said, “I understand the pain of the farmers. The Prime Minister should listen to the farmers.”

Earlier, in support of farmers’ agitations, JJP MLA Sihag had refused to assume charge of Chairman of Haryana Housing Board. He had come out in support of the agitation and demanded that the three farm laws should be withdrawn.
