Four employees of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research here were tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
The employees included were from the Histopathology Department, Parasitology Department, Engineering Department and Blood bank.
Report of another employee from Blood Bank, PGIMER was awaited till the filing of this report.
Following this, six employees from Histopathology, two from Parasitology and ten from the Engineering Department have been quarantined, said an official spokesman of PGIMER.
The risk assessment in Blood Bank will be done on Monday morning as a report of another employee is awaited, the spokesman added.
Notably, the NHE, PGIMER is COVID-19 dedicated hospital with patients from Chandigarh and neighboring states undergoing treatment there.
