The sixth Formation Day of Punjab State Power Corporation limited and Punjab State Transmission Corporation limited (PSPCl) was celebrated at PSEB Officers Club at Power Colony-1 on Thursday.
K.D.Chaudhri, Chairman cum Managing Director, Gurbachan Singh Bachi, Director Administration, S.C.Arora, Director Finance, Surinder Pal, Director Commercial, K.l.Sharma, Director Distribution of PSPCl and U.K.Panda, Director Finance & Shashi Kansal, Director Transmission of PSTCl honoured the Officers of both the corporations who retired in Financial Years 2013-14 and 2014-15.
The function was attended by many retired Members of PSEB and large number of working and retired Chief Engineers and Superintending Engineers of both the corporations.
A total of 52 retiree officers were honoured on formation day. On the occasion K.D.Chaudhri said that it is the team work which is paying in PSPCl. He recalled the “Best Power Utility Award to PSPCl” given this year by Central Board of Irrigation & Power.
He said with the introduction of single number (1912) for registration of electricity supply complaints, Punjab has become first such state.
Chaudhri said even though best services are being given to consumers, there are still many milestones to be achieved for which relentless efforts are on.
