To bring transparency in the system and facilitate the intended beneficiaries, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said that the Financial Assistance Scheme from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund will also be brought online soon through the Antyodaya Saral portal.
In addition, with the scheme going online, needy persons will be able to apply with the necessary documents at the nearest CSC or Antyodaya Saral Kendras, said Khattar, while giving necessary instructions to the concerned officers about making the financial assistance scheme from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund online.
He said that through the Antyodaya Saral Portal, people are getting benefits of various schemes in a timely manner. “With the scheme running offline, the benefits of the scheme are not reaching the beneficiaries in a timely manner, so the Government’s aim is to take the scheme online through Antyodaya Saral Portal to ensure timely delivery of services,” he added.
The Chief Minister said that after applying online on the portal, the form would reach the concerned public representatives and the Deputy Commissioner. “After this, the application will go to the committee for the final decision after verification from Tehsildar and Civil Surgeon in online mode and after completion of all formalities, the amount will be released to the applicant,” he added.
The government is starting this facility to provide quick help to needy persons, he said.
