Haryana Finance Minister HS Chattha on Sunday said that the finances of the State are in perfect health and enough money is available with the State Government for implementing all the schemes announced by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda recently.
Chattha, while talking to the mediapersons after administering the ‘Oath of office and Secrecy’ to newly appointed chairman of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC), said that the State Government has been taking large number of decisions for the welfare of the people. He said that treasury is for the welfare of the people and it is being utilised for their benefits only.
On being asked to comment about the announcement made by the Chief Minister to increase the retirement age of Haryana Government employees from 58 years to 60 years, Chattha said that if there would have been any problem with funds then the Chief Minister would not have taken this decision.
When asked to comment about those who have left Congress Party, Chattha said that their ambitions were too high which is why they have been leaving the party. He said that such leaders have nothing concrete to say therefore they have been targeting the Chief Minister, but Hooda is a very cooperative person.
