Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal on Sunday said that with a view to promoting Haryanvi art and culture in the State, a Haryana film policy is being prepared and it would be finalised by January 15, 2017.
Manohar lal announced this after inaugurating a programme organized by SPIC MACAY in collaboration with Haryana Government at Yamunanagar. As part of the Swarna Jayanti Celebrations, as many as 264 such programmes would be organized in the same series throughout the state.
He said the Government has decided to frame its film policy to encourage Haryanvi films and directors so as to promote the art and culture of the state in India and abroad.
