A file tracking and monitoring system will start functioning in the district hospitals of Haryana from March onwards. Also, the system would soon be implemented in all the hospitals across the State.
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said that the decision to implement the file training and monitoring system in the district level offices and later, in all offices of the department had been taken to ensure transparency in governance.
A day before, Anil Vij had paid a surprise visit to the headquarters of Director General, Health Services at Panchkula and found that senior officers had kept ACP, ACR and other files of subordinates pending for many years, hindering their annual increments and promotions. It not only caused the employees mental agony but also put them to financial loss.
The Health Minister has already issued directions that all pending files found during the inspection, be disposed of within a month. Besides, the suspension case of senior medical officer of Bhiwani, Dr NK Gupta, has been sent to the government. Directions have already been issued for carrying out work for cleaning the water cooler and updating of the fire extinguisher at Directorate’s office at Panchkula.
