Choas ensued at the state level function to mark the International Yoga Day in Rohtak on Friday as people looted yoga mats as soon as the programme came to an end.
People picked up fights with each other to get their hands on yoga mats at the venue, from where Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister ML Khattar had performed yoga.
A video of the incident went viral on Friday. In the video, it can be seen how people are bickering and fighting over yoga mats as yoga music, meant for peace of mind and soul, played in the background.
Thousands of yoga mats had been laid down by the State Government for the participants. Though officials had tried to gather the mats after the event, several participants managed to take them home.
