After its stunning victory in recent Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has started its political canvassing in Haryana in view of upcoming lok Sabha elections.
Yogender Yadav, a senior leader of the party while addressing the maiden public rally at Gurgaon on Sunday, asked the whistleblower Ashok Khemka to leave his job and join politics to fight against the corrupt system.
“IAS Ashok Khemka should leave the job and join the politics to fight against corruption”, said Yadav. He added, “The party will raise the issue of recent HPSC scam in which reportedly the relatives of Haryana Chief Minister got the jobs.”
Yadav lashed out at all the political parties including ruling Congress. Yadav alleged that corruption is at peak in the State and senior leaders of INlD are the perfect example of it. Without naming Haryana Janhit Congress (Bl), he said that those who are born in corruption can never remove corruption from the state. Due to ongoing change land use (ClU) scams by the ruling Congress in the state, the state populace want to get rid of Congress, he added. Hinting towards former leaders Devi lal, Bansi lal, Bhajan lal and Gandhi family, Yadav said that his party will not allow dynasty politics.
He said that the party has not decided about the candidates for the elections in Haryana, but it would be disclosed at the appropriate time. Yadav also met party workers at Mewat and Rewari areas on Sunday.
