A first of its kind Haryana Swarna Jayanti national conference and exhibition on history, society, culture and economy of Haryana will be organized at Kurukshetra on February 7.
Director, Haryana History and Culture Academy, Dr. Raghuvendra Tanwar on Sunday said that Haryana Governor, Kaptan Singh Solanki, would be the chief guest.
National President, Akhil Bhartiya Itihaas Sankalan, Prof. SC Mittal, who has retired from History Department of Kurukshetra University, would be the keynote speaker, Principal Secretary, Cultural Affairs Department, Dr. Sumita Misra would be special invitee.
Tanwar said that the exhibition was being organised as per the directions issued by Chief Minister, Manohar lal, to acquaint the people, especially the youth, with the rich cultural heritage and history of the State. It would include aspects such as the State’s contribution to the freedom struggle.
