Former Himachal Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Friday accused the State Government of violating model code of conduct by transferring and posting over 700 Government employees on March 5 and Ministers inaugurating buildings and complexes without proper infrastructure.
In a Press statement issued here on Friday, he claimed that the Government had transferred nearly 700 Government employees on March 5, which was utter violation of election code and alleged that it was violation of Model Code of Conduct.
“Congress is afraid of their upcoming defeat thus harassing the government employees by transferring them,” he said. Dhumal said Congress party has history of harassing and exploiting the employees.
“Congress wants to torment the Government employees, so that they could be exploited for votes during elections,” he added. Dhumal said Congress has to pay for their intentions. He also said that in hurry congress is demolishing all democratic values.
“On March 5, even after poll code Government inaugurated several institutions, which were not even completed,” he said adding that, “Central minister's desperation to inaugurate buildings could be understood but why was the State Government in haste.”
“It is clearly depicted that Congress party has accepted the fact that it would not continue in the Government after lok Sabha election,” added Dhumal. He said 10 years of UPA and one-year of the State Government are clear examples of misrule.
