Everyone should hoist Tricolor, but forcibly selling it to poor is wrong: Hooda

Published on:

Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday said that on the occasion of Independence Day, everyone should unfurl the tricolor as it is our pride. But forcibly selling flags for Rs 20-20 to the poor through depot holders is absolutely condemnable. Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, Hooda spoke on a wide range of issues including rising unemployment, Agneepath, corruption, Shamlat land, water logging and poor condition of roads in the State. Senior Congress leader alleged that the government only constitutes SIT in the name of investigation but its report never comes out.  In the present government, SIT does not mean Special Investigation Team but has become Sitting Investigation on Table,” he said.
