The European Union (EU) has evinced interest for increasing research and academic cooperation and exploring opportunities for international collaboration with the Panjab University (PU) Chandigarh.
EU Research & Innovation section delegation led by Head of Research & Innovation, EU Delegation to India, Denis Dambois on Thursday visited PU campus and met the PU Vice Chancellor rof Arun Kumar Grover and officers and Deans of the University.
The EU delegation consisted of Science, Technology & Innovation counsellors, attachés and directors of institutes from France, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland and other EU countries.
During the interaction, the EU delegation shared about various cooperation opportunities for collaborative research as well as mobility schemes offered by the European Union and its Member States.
The delegation discussed on increasing mutual cooperation and collaboration with Indian research & academic community. PU Vice Chancellor Arun Kumar Grover informed the delegation about Chandigarh Region Innovation and Knowledge Cluster (CRIKC) institutions and other new initiatives and achievements of the University.
