The high powered committee constituted by Punjab Government under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Punjab to redress employees grievance, held meetings with the Employees Associations of Health and Medical Education department on Monday.
The Committee listened to the grievances and proposals put forward by the aggrieved employees. Similar meetings would be held daily till February 5 to ensure speedy redressal of the grievances of employees working in the different departments like Education, Rural Development and Panchayats, local Government, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Irrigation, Power, Public Health and PWD.
A spokesman of the Punjab government said that the high powered committee headed by Punjab Chief Secretary Sarvesh Kaushal had been mandated by the Punjab government to scrutinize all the demands of employees and ensure effective and quick implementation of the decisions.
