Haryana Chief Secretary DS Dhesi on Monday directed the senior functionaries of police and civil administration to make foolproof arrangements for the smooth conduct of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) level-3 examination scheduled to be held in the State  on June 18.

The tests have been tainted in the past with irregularities and court cases being reported.

Dhesi was presiding over a meeting with the Deputy Commissioners,  Superintendents of Police and Deputy Superintendents of Police here to review the preparedness to conduct HTET level-3 examination.

The Chief Secretary said that as this examination holds special significance for the State Government, they should ensure that no irregularity is  committed during the

examination.

He said that different agencies are involved in the conduct of this examination and there should be a better coordination between the office of concerned Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police and District Education Officer.

Dhesi directed them to ensure that no electronic devise is used in the examination centres. He said that though Jammers would be installed at all examination centres to keep a check on the use of such devises, there is a need to be extra vigilant. Similarly, Biometric machines should be checked in advance to  ensure that they are in properly working so that the biometric attendance of the candidates could be recorded at the time of examination.

Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department PK Das directed them to ensure that there is no interference of outsiders during the examination and   necessary steps be taken to check use  of unfair means.
