Admitting that the health infrastructure needs a lot of improvement in Haryana, State Health Minster Anil Vij on Wednesday said efforts would be made that the budget allocation to the health sector is doubled for next fiscal as compared to previous financial years.
Meanwhile, continuing his “surprise inspection spree”, the Health Minister on Wednesday reached Health Department at Panchkula and conducted inspection in various blocks.
The Minister sought explanation from employees who were not present at the office during his visit. He said that the Chief Minister would be apprised about the irregularities in the Department and a complaint against deputy director will be sent to him. Vij also suspended Bhiwani Senior medical officer following allegations against him for not attending a swine flu patient.
