The Election Commission has asked the political parties to appoint booth level agents (BlAs) for electoral roll revision. The instructions were issued during the meeting held on Wednesday at the office of Punjab Chief Electoral Officer with the representatives of all registered political parties concerning the revision of electoral rolls.
Chairing the meeting, State Additional Chief Electoral Officer Manpreet Singh Chhatwal appealed to all the representatives of various political parties to appoint their workers as BlAs to ensure that nobody gets deprived of the right of being registered as a voter nor does anybody's vote get deleted wrongly and every body's vote is made in accordance with the rules.
