NIT Kurukshetra Teachers Association held its annual election for various office bearers today under the supervision of Election officers Prof lillie Dewan and Dr AK Singh.
All the positions except that of the President post were unanimously filled. For the post of President, there were three candidates: Dr Vikas Choudhary (Department of Humanities and Social Sciences), Dr SC Gupta (Department of Mechanical Engineering) and Dr Sandeep Santosh (Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering).
Dr Vikas Choudhary won the election by securing 80 votes out of a total of 111 votes cast. Dr Vikas Choudhary said that he was happy with his team of office-bearers and they would all work together to promote the interests of the faculty of the institute.
