At a farmers’ rally held here on Thursday, Rakesh Singha, CITU leader, came down heavily on the Mandi district administration and director IIT Komand for the killing of four persons last month.He alleged that vested political interests were exerting pressure on the police to save the culprits and involve innocents in the crime. “Eye-brows were being raised over protecting the contractor who had not paid wages and insurance deducted of the workers.” he said.
