A discretionary finance of upto Rs 5 lakh each will be provided to bureaucrats in Haryana under the Parivartan scheme, designed to address 10 issues, including cleanliness and pollution, in 46 backward blocks of the state.
The State Government has notified Parivartan Scheme aimed at fast tracking implementation of policies in priority areas in 46 backward blocks.
Each of the 46 blocks has been assigned to Administrative Secretaries or senior IAS, IPS and IFS officers to effectively operationalize this initiative.
“The officer in-charge of blocks would also be provided with discretionary finance not exceeding for Rs 5 lakhs each, to begin with, for effective implementation of parivartan, initiatives in their block. This fund could be utilized interalia for rewards, incentives and carrying out surveys,” said an official spokesman adding that the motto of this scheme is "Perform, Reform and Transform”.
