A dharna was organised by Housing Societies Residents Welfare Federation, (regd), Chandigarh on Sunday adjoining Young Dwellers Society Sector 49 here to raise the issues of Society residents of the city.
The presidents and others officer bearers from different societies took part in the dharna, which was attended by around 300 persons in which problems of societies were discussed at large. Prahlad Bhagat Vasudeva (advocate), general secretary of the Federation informed the members present in the meeting the Federation had proposed for the share wise / flat wise conveyance deed to the Administration, but the process of chunk of land adopted by the Administration shall make the process lengthy and more expensive. He stressed to make the process simple and helpful so that interested persons can take benefit.
