Two followers of the Sirsa-headquarter sect Dera Sacha Sauda, whose head is acting in an upcoming film, were injured after they were allegedly attacked by a group when they objected to tearing of the film’s posters. The Dera followers were identified as Surinder Kumar Arora of Beant Nagar in Moga and Jaswant Singh of Baba Nand Singh Nagar. Meanwhile, the accused escaped from the spot after the incident. “The situation in the town is under control,” SSP Moga, Jatinder Singh Khaira said. Notably, Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda sect head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is in line of fire from different Sikh organisations, including top temporal seat of Sikhs the Sri Akal Takht, for his upcoming film.
