Punjab Government has directed all its departments to file written statements and status reports of court cases at least three day prior to the date of hearing.
The departments have also been instructed to make provision on their respective websites for the people to express and send their grievances so that the Government may respond adequately and promptly. The decision was taken after it has been noticed that the departments are not particular about written statements and status reports due to be filed in the court of law, said an official spokesperson of the Home Affairs and Justice Department of Punjab Government.
