To position Haryana as a preferred investment destination and attract investors, a delegation from Haryana will visit Japan and China from January 17 to 25 next year.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal while addressing a Press conference at New Delhi on Tuesday said that the visit is aimed at attracting the prospective investors of both the countries to invest in Haryana.
When asked about the recent visit of Wanda Group of China to Haryana, he said that the group has evinced keen interest in making investment in Haryana and talks are on in this regard.
After holding one on one meeting with the CEOs and heads of prestigious multinational and national companies, the Chief Minister said that Haryana Government is not only committed to promoting industry and creating jobs but will also work to provide affordable housing to the industrial labour.
“Haryana is fast emerging as a centre of attraction for industry and investment is borne out by the fact that as many as 25 leading industrialists came to meet me during the day though meetings had been fixed with only 8 to 10”, said Manohar lal.
The Chief Minister said that with a view to provide conducive atmosphere for industrial investment in the state and to realising the
aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the State Government has implemented the New Enterprises Promotion Policy 2015.
He said that we are of the view that the unauthorised industries in the State would be merged in the industries which have been set up in a planned way as in the unauthorised industries, it is the labour class which faces maximum problems.
While referring to the high level delegation led by him which visited America and Canada in August 2015, he said that during their visit, the foreign investors had shown keen interest in investing in Haryana.
