High drama was witnessed at Deputy Commissioner’s office in Sector-17 here on Wednesday when DC’s wife reached his office and had a verbal spat with DC’s personal assistant, a woman.
According to the staff present at DC office, DC Mohammed Shayin’s wife reached his office around 11 am and had a heated and intense argument with his PA. Following the argument, DC’s wife also thrashed the lady PA and left the office.The heated arguments between both the women lasted for around half an hour leaving the staff at DC office stunned. No one in the office intervened to stop the argument. After the whole incident, the PA left the office and did not return. No complaint has been made to the police so far.
Mohd Shayin was not present in the office during the incident and was in Delhi on Wednesday to attend a meeting.Yet another controversy has surrounded the Deputy Commissioner now. Previously, a picture showing Mohd Shayin in an objectionable position with a HCS officer had went viral on WhatsApp, following which Chandigarh Police had booked an unknown person in the matter. An FIR was registered on the complaint of UT DC himself.
As DC had alleged that the picture was morphed and leaked to defame him, a case was registered under Sections 465 (Punishment for forgery), 468 (Forgery for purpose of cheating), 469 (forgery for purpose of harming reputation) of the IPC and 66, 67 and 71 of the IT Act at Sector-17 Police Station.
