Naina Chautala, MLA from Dabwali on Sunday targeted the State Government over rise in crime against women in Haryana.
Chautala, while addressing women in ‘Hari Chunri Chaupal’ program in Israna, Panipat said that there is a spurt in crime against women and BJP government which gave slogan of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ has severely dented Haryana’s image in the country.
Launching a scathing attack on the government, Chautala said that there is an alarming rise of crime against women in BJP’s rule and girls are not feeling safe here.
She said that her party Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) would create a safe atmosphere in the society for the women and girls besides it will bring strict laws and harsh punishment to prevent the crime.
She said that old aged women are not getting pensions despite tall claims of State Government but once JJP forms the government in Haryana, it would bring down the age criteria of old age pension to 55 and the pension amount would be disbursed regularly as they were being given during the regime of Chaudhari Devi Lal.
She also took on the government for the menace of stray cows and alleged that BJP government has failed to do anything for Gau Mata (cow) and its leaders would face serious consequences in the general and assembly elections next year.
“JJP would reserve 75-per cent government jobs exclusively for the youth only as they are now going to run Haryana. The entire government’s education and health system would be revamped in Haryana”, Chautala added.
She also accused the leader of opposition Abhay Chautala and his coterie for remarks against a mother and asked the women that those who can’t respect a mother must be completely rejected.
Notably, former INLD leader, Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala had on December 9 launched JJP, which will contest both Lok Sabha and Assembly polls scheduled next year in Haryana.
Naina Chautala is wife of former INLD leader Ajay Chautala and mother of Dushyant and Digvijay Chautala.
While Ajay alongwith his sons Dushyant and Digvijay were expelled from the party, Naina Chautala is still the member of INLD.
The INLD had split following differences between Ajay Chautala and his younger brother Abhay Chautala, sons of INLD chief OP Chautala.
