Counselling for admission to the Prarambh School for Teacher Education at Jhajjar for the session of 2015-16 will be held in August at the State Council of Educational Research and Training Haryana (SCERT) in Gurgaon.
An official spokesman on Friday said that in case the counseling was not completed on August 1, it would continue on the subsequent dates. The candidates are required to come along with their documents which include score-sheet of students downloaded from the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Ajmer website along with ID proof, all original documents or testimonials of Class 10 and 12 along with self-attested copies.
They should also bring original migration certificate along with self-attested copies, original character certificate issued by the principal of the school or institution last attended along with self-attested copies, five passport size photographs and original residence and caste certificate issued by the competent authority of the State Government for availing of the benefit of reservation, if any, along with self-attested copies.
He said that candidates who want to avail themselves of the benefits of reservation would be entertained only on the production of residence and caste certificate issued from Haryana. On account of the tuition fee, demand draft of `18,400 could be sent in favour of Principal, Prarambh School for Teacher Education at Jhajjar, and fee once deposited would not be refunded, under any eventuality. The spokesman said that girl students would be provided with hostel facility, subject to availability in Government Polytechnic for Women, Jhajjar.
Counseling of B.A. - B.Ed. course would start at 10am on August 1 and for the B.Sc.-B.Ed. course at 12 noon the same day and would continue until the vacant seats are filled up.
Giving details of the candidates, he said that Scheduled Caste candidates scoring 64 or more marks in the combined entrance examination held on June 7 by RIE Ajmer, and candidate of all other categories, scoring 72 or more marks would appear for counselling.
