Haryana Congress has termed the white paper on State finances released by State Government as a “bundle of lies”.
State Congress president Ashok Tanwar on Monday said that the white paper has been released to conceal the failure of BJP Government. The BJP Government in Haryana wants to divert people’s attention from issues like land Acquisition Bill and anti-people Budget.
Responding to the figures elaborated in the white paper, the Congress also released such financial figures claiming improvement in State’s finances during its 10-year tenure.
“The intentions of BJP are very clear as they have released the white paper just one week before the start of Budget Session of Haryana Assembly. This could have been discussed in the Assembly but the BJP-led State Government is running from the discussion on the issue,” he added.
