Congress facing end of political future: Majithia

Published on:

Punjab Revenue Minister and Youth Akali Dal chief Bikram Singh Majithia on Thursday claimed that Congress was facing “the end of its political future” with the outright rejection of public amidst increasing rebellion within the party.

Referring to the open rift within the party’s state unit and its rout in the recent Assembly elections in four states, Majithia said that the partymen were so stifled by the state chief Partap Singh Bajwa’s self-centred approach that they have rehashed Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) as “Partap Bajwa Congress Committee” and are distancing from it.  “People are sick and tired of Congress’ anti-people policies, stifled by inflation and corruption, and are distancing from it. In Delhi, Congress was given a sound drubbing,” he said while talking with the madia persons.
