Cong will win all 10 lS seats in Haryana: Hooda

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Wednesday claimed that the Congress is in a strong position in the State and the party would win all ten lok Sabha seats in the upcoming lok Sabha elections.

Hooda said that the poll surveys during the lok Sabha elections in the years 2004 and 2009 were also as similar as today, but Congress formed the Government on both the occasions. While ridiculing the statement being made by the leaders of opposition parties on the pre-poll surveys, Hooda said that everyone has a right to dream and cited them as ‘Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne’.

On being asked about the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Hooda said that aam aadmi (common man) is with Congress, whereas ‘Kuchh Khaas Aadmi’ (few special people) are in Aam Aadmi Party. Hooda said that new political parties keep on forming and would continue in future also, but there is a wave of Congress in the country and in the State. Hooda added that there would be no influence of AAP on Congress vote bank.

When asked to comment on the meeting which he has scheduled with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Hooda said that Kejriwal has sought time from him for a meeting to discuss inter-state issues. Hooda said that he has given time to him. However, he has received a message that Kejriwal would not be able to attend the meeting. Hooda said that Kejriwal is the Chief Minister of neighbouring State and he would always be ready to discuss the inter-State issues with him.
