Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday said that it has not yet been decided to give tickets to all sitting MlAs of Congress for the ensuing Vidhan Sabha elections.
While talking to the mediapersons in Faridabad, the Chief Minister said that there was no issue in recent lok Sabha elections and on the basis of publicity of an individual, the BJP has grabbed mandate at the Centre. The issues of lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha are entirely different. He said that the Congress party would contest Vidhan Sabha elections on the basis of development made in the State.
lashing out at the Central Government, Hooda said that as a result of decisions taken by the BJP Government at the Centre, within last three months, the inflation has increased considerably. The rail fares, prices of sugar and diesel have also increased. He said that the expectations and aspirations of people which they had from the Central Government were changing into disappointments.
In another question regarding resignation of Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Kumari Sharda Rathore, Hooda said that he has not yet received her resignation. While criticising those who have left Congress, Hooda said that their political base had eroded. Hooda also lauded the significant role played by the bureaucracy in the unprecedented development of the State during his regime.
later, he addressed a gathering after giving away documents of loan and interest waiver scheme to beneficiaries in a function of members belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes at Jind.
With a view to free the members belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes from the burden of debt, Hooda said that their loans amounting to Rs 154.75 crore have been waived off. Apart from this, Haryana Government would bear 50 percent interest of those such eligible beneficiaries who would pay back the loan on time.
He said that those who have not got their loan waiver documents yet, would get the same within one week. As many as 1.64 lakh such documents would be given away in the State under this scheme.
