Cong slams Shah's 'unparliamentary' words

BJP president Amit Shah’s jibe at Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at a public rally in Narnaund on Tuesday invited criticism from the Congress. “Shah used unparliamentary words against Hooda, affecting the political atmosphere of Haryana,” said Ran Singh Mann, spokesperson of Haryana Congress. Addressing the Narnaund rally, Shah said “Ye pehalwanon ki bhoomi hai, is bhoomi ka mukhiya Dilli ke darbar mein mujra karta hai (This is the land of strongmen. The chief of this land dances to the tunes of Delhi durbar)”. The durbar was seen to refer to Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Mann cautioned Shah to control his tongue and talk only on issues. People of this State would give a befitting reply on October 15, he added.
