Cong questions performance of Kejriwal as Delhi Chief Minister

Punjab Congress legislature Party leader, Charanjit Singh Channi on Saturday questioned the performance of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and cautioned the people in the State against the dreams he was trying to sell to the people here.

“Today Kejriwal is bothered about the drug menace in Punjab, where was he when this problem was multiplying and taking lives of young generations under the politico-police nexus. Today he is visiting the families of farmer’s suicides and drug addicts, what vision he carries to eradicate this, he should tell the people of Punjab,” Channi said.

He said Kejriwal talked of eradicating corruption but the fact of the matter was that the credentials of the people who were joining AAP were suspect  and was known to the people in the State. “This smacked of double standards of AAP. Such degenerated people could not make any claim that they would fight corruption and moreover, they had never been loyal to any party or individual and had been symbol of blatant opportunism,” he added.
