Punjab Congress MlA Harchand Kaur has been included in State Advisory Committee for Transport, legal, legislative affairs, Elections, Employment Generation and Training department on Friday.
She replaced party’s senior leader and former Chief Minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, disclosed an official spokesman of the Punjab Government in a press communiqué. He said that as per a partial amendment, Harchand Kaur was included in State advisory committee as non official member by Punjab Government. In this regard, legislative Department has intimated to all Financial Commissioners, Principal Secretaries, or Secretaries. Punjab Government had constituted State Advisory Committees for different departments for better co-ordination, he added.
