Cong MLA accuses BJP Govt of wrongful land re-allotment, writes to Guv

A Congress MLA on Tuesday accused the Haryana Government of giving a prime land of HSVP in Gurugram at nominal rates, causing loss of crores of rupees to the State exchequer.

Haryana Congress MLA from Palwal, Karan Dalal, on Tuesday wrote a letter to Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya demanding a registration of FIR against those involved in re-allotment of resumed land measuring 10 acres in Gurugram.

In his letter, Dalal alleged that the State Government has ignored all the provisions of allotment policy to favour one person. The Government has re-allotted resumed land measuring 10 acres earmarked for hospital site in prime sector of 31-32 A of Gurugram to the same person, totally in violation of policy for allotment of hospital site. The said person was allotted his land many years back, but as he failed to fulfill the terms and conditions of allotment letter, the site in question was resumed, he said.

But now, all the relevant rules of allotment have been violated by re-allotting the said site to the same person, firstly, without putting it in auction and secondly, it is allotted at the rate of Rs 30,000 per sq. mtr whereas the land is situated in Sector 31-32 A Gurugram, which is very prime land whose market price is more than 1,25,000 per sq. mt, Dalal alleged.

With this decision, the Government has caused loss of more than Rs 1,500 crores to the State exchequer, he added in his letter.

Comparing the case to the allotment of land to AJL limited in Panchkula, which is sub-judice in Court, the Congress MLA said that on one side, the Haryana as well as Centre Government had launched false and malicious prosecution against their political opponents for allotting a land of less than one acre to AJL Limited in Panchkula and on the other hand, they themselves are allotting prime land measuring 10 acre violating the rules.

Dalal further demanded registration of FIR against Chief Minister Manohar Lal, being the Minister of Town of Country Planning Department and officers of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran for causing loss of more than Rs 1,5,000 crore to State exchequer.
