Peeved over SAD-BJP Government’s callous attitude over non-payment of paddy dues to the farmers, Punjab Congress has decided to observe fast-unto-death on Monday in front of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal’s official residence. The announcement was made by the State Cong Khet Mazdoor & Kisan Wing chairman Inderjit Singh Zira. “I & 9 other Congress party workers will sit on fast at 9 am on Monday to demand the pending payment of paddy already sold in the mandis,” he said.
