PunjabDeputy Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Badal on Monday made it clear that the Congress could not stop the ‘leader of masses’ Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal from holding pro-people ‘Sangat Darshan’ programmes.
Punjab Congress would soon realize the folly of its directionless leaders who have nothing to offer but negativity, he said on the sidelines of a rally organized by Ajit Singh Shant to mark his comeback in the SAD at Nihal Singh Wala. Sukhbir warned the ‘“frustrated’” Congress leaders who wanted to gain cheap publicity by disrupting ‘sangat darshan’ programmes to be ready to meet people’s ire who understood how these programmes allowed ordinary citizens to put forward their demands directly to the Chief Minister.
