Cong accuses BJP of dictatorship

lashing out at the Bharatiya Janta Party, senior Congress leader and AICC media incharge, Randeep Singh Surjewala on Sunday said the BJP Government came to power three years back but did nothing during its tenure except changing the name of Congress projects.

“The BJP Government is anti-people and anti-farmer. When the Congress Government came to power in 2004, the Congress had waived 72 thousand crore rupees loan of farmers. But, the BJP-led Central Government cannot waive off even a single penny for farmers,” said Surjewala while addressing a Sangharsh rally at Kalayat in Haryana.

He said the statement of BJP Finance Minister that they did not have any money to waive off the farmers’ debt, certified their dictatorship.

Expressing concern over the condition of Dalits, Surjewala said the Modi Government has almost ended the share of Dalits in Government jobs.

In the year 2013, 92,928 Dalit colleagues got jobs in the Congress Government. But in the year 2015, the jobs of the Dalits were reduced to just 8,436, he alleged.
