To make the recruitment process transparent, unbiased and merit based, the Vice Chancellor of Rohtak-based Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Sudhir Rajpal has issued directions to video record the interview process of appointments in affiliated colleges.
Rajpal said that complaints and objections are received many a times after the appointment process from candidates, members of College Management Committee and others. In which, the selection committee has to give
clarification related to appointments. In view of maintaining the sanctity of appointment and interview process, the video recording of
selection process by Selection Committee would make the entire process transparent. This
would prevent complaints and objections in future, he added.
The Vice Chancellor has issued directions in this regard to Dean, College Development Council and Registrar. Accordingly, the appointment process in affiliated colleges would be video recorded in future.
He said that in future, video recording would also be adopted for appointment process in MDU.
