On the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal will be the chief guest at various programmes being organised in Karnal.
The Chief Minister would flag off about 48 auto-tipper vehicles for source segregation of garbage. In morning, these vehicles would collect moist and dry garbage lying in blue and green bins from all wards and dispose of them at right place, said an official spokesman.
He said that the Chief Minister would also distribute blue-green dustbins to promote source segregation of garbage.
