China’s Wanda Group has submitted a proposal for setting up a Green Field Integrated Industrial Township in Sonipat district of Haryana in joint venture with the HSIIDC.
The joint venture will develop, operate and manage the integrated industrial township at Kharkhoda in Sonipat district.
The sponsors anticipate that the joint venture will catalyse investment worth $ 10 billion (Rs 65,000 crore) and generate opportunities for 34,000 direct jobs, said an official spokesman.
The project at Kharkhoda would fall within the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and the National Capital Region.
