Representatives of various companies from across the globe and those willing to investment in Jharkhand are expected to converge in city in Jharkhand Global Investor Summit which is scheduled to be organised on February 16-17.
Verma, on this occasion, said that the preparations needed to be done without any loophole and all departments of the state should coordinate with the Department of Industries, the nodal agency for the success of this two-day global investors’ summit. The summit aims to establish Jharkhand as a premier Investment destination for both foreign as well as domestic investors.
The CS directed the departments to ensure the role of concerned private sector enterprises as authorized service provider in their respective fields. She also said during review meeting held at Project Bhawan to open stalls and pavilions department-wise showing investment potential in the State. Senior officials from Energy, Tourism, Information Technology, Agriculture, Road Construction, Forest and Environment, Health, Urban Development and Housing and other departments were present in the meeting.
“Though Department of Industries is the nodal agency for the event, it is not an event of Department of Industries alone. This is an event of the State, and everyone will have to work closely in cooperation to make the event memorable one,” said the CS. A number of Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) are expected to take place between the government and companies during the event, which will also see various discussion sessions on and about anything and everything related to business in Jharkhand.
Renowned national and foreign business and industry personalities will participate in the summit. In the meeting, the opportunities of industries as well as the govt. policy will be discussed through seminars. Some important agreements will also be signed on February 16-17.
