The BJP-led Haryana Government on Thursday directed that a case of cheating be registered against ‘The Hisar Adarsh Postal Employees Cooperative Society limited’.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal issued these directions while presiding over monthly meeting of District Public Relations and Grievances Committee at Mini Secretariat in Hisar.

He also issued necessary directions to higher officials while redressing the grievances of people.

Acting on the complaint of Hisar residents namely Shivdutt, Karan Singh, Baljit Singh and others, the Chief Minister said that the office-bearers of Adarsh Society had cheated people by asking them to deposit money in the society which was against the rules. Cheque bouncing falls in the category of crime, he added.

In another complaint made by Sudhir Singh and Vikram Singh, residents of Sector 13, Hisar, it was found that some people had illegally acquired land on Hisar-Tosham road and also constructed shops on the highway land. The Chief Minister demanded explanation from the District Town Planner (DTP) on the issue and directed the officer to take action within 48 hours after getting such complaints in future. In his reply, the DTP said that possession on the land has already been vacated.

In complaint made by Suman, a resident of Saatroad Kalan, regarding transfer of land by wrong means, the Chief Minister directed officers to carry out investigation in the case at the earliest and submit report within one month. He also directed the Deputy Commissioner to personally keep a check on this case.

Regarding the complaint of non-supply of drinking water to Model Town Extension, he sought information on the matter from the Public Health Department and HUDA officers. On the demand of Public Health Department, Manohar lal directed the Municipal Corporation to provide land for setting up boosting station in Model Town Extension so that drinking water could be supplied to people.
