Chautala writes letter to LS Speaker about his expulsion from INLD

Former Indian National Lok Dal leader and Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala on Wednesday said that he has written to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to inform about his expulsion from the INLD.

“I have requested the Speaker that my name should not be associated with the INLD as I have been expelled,” said Dushyant Chautala, while talking to the mediapersons in Hisar and Fatehabad.

The winter session of Parliament will begin from December 11.

INLD patriarch OP Chautala had expelled three family members from the party—first his grandsons Hisar MP Dushyant and INSO chief Digvijay, and then Ajay Chautala for alleged “anti-party activities”. The breakaway faction of INLD led by Ajay Chautala, elder son of former Chief Minister OP Chautala will launch their new party on December 9 at Jind.

Following his expulsion from the party last month, Ajay had announced to form a separate political outfit, which he said will contest both Lok Sabha and assembly polls in Haryana next year.

Their political outfit is likely to be named “Jannayak Janta Party”. The word Jan Nayak has been taken from Ajay’s grandfather former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal who was also addressed as Jannayak Devi Lal.
