UT Adviser Manoj Parida said that he has sought a list from Chandigarh Police regarding the curfew violators. The list would be published on social media to name and shame curfew violators, he said. List of VIPs, who are violating the curfew restrictions has been sought from the Police. It is unfortunate that people are still going for morning and evening walks, defying curfew order in the city, Parida added.

From March 23 (midnight) till Wednesday evening, a total of 13954 persons have been rounded up for violating curfew orders in the city. A total of 6928 vehicles have been detained, out of which 4219 were impounded.
