As many as 33 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported in Chandigarh on Wednesday, recording its highest single-day count in the last few months.
Soon after a brief declining phase, Covid-19 cases have again started climbing in the city. According to a health report, the new Covid-19 cases in Chandigarh were reported from Sectors 4, 9, 10, 21, 22, 23,31, 41, 48, 50, 38 Mauli Jagran and Manimajra. Chandigarh has logged 65,829 positive cases so far, of which 64,624 have been cured and 1,079 succumbed to Covid-19 so far.
