Chandigarh on Friday reported 422 Covid-19 cases, the second-highest daily number since Covid-19 pandemic struck early last year, taking the city’s total number of cases to 29,943.
Four more Covid-19 deaths were reported on the day, taking the city’s total death toll to 393. As per health bulletin, as many as 3213 cases remain active in the city. Last year, on September 13, Chandigarh logged 449 cases.
Meanwhile, the Chandigarh administration has banned the operation of CTU night bus services to various districts of Punjab due to night curfew.
