Chandigarh Police on Monday organised the second day of the Public Grievances Redressal Camp in the premises of Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh and also in the premises of Police Station Sector 19.
Chaired by SSP Sukhchain Singh Gill, the other officers who were present included Parminder Singh, SP City, Guriqbal Singh Sidhu, ASP/East Sub- Division and other officers along with the SHO’s of both Police Stations.
In the Camp at Police Station Sector-26, 60 complainants and prominent persons from Resident Welfare Association /Market Welfare Association along with area Counselor visited the Police Station to know the present status of their complaints. The facts of 32 complaints were discussed with the complainants, out of which 27 complaints were disposed off on the spot.
During the redressal Camp at Police Station Sector-19, total 135 complainants visited the Police Station.
