On Gandhi Jayanti, Chandigarh unit of the BJP carried out a cleanliness drive headed by the State president, Sanjay Tandon in Sector 38 West.
He was accompanied by District president, Ravi Kant Sharma, general secretary, Prem Kaushik, Councillors, Sunita Dhawan, Shipra Bansal, Sabina Bansal, Monica Sharma and workers from Municipal Corporation.
Tandon said Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ on October 2, 2014 with a vision of achieving ‘Clean India’ by 2019.
